Types of Services
- We provide dog walks, adventure hikes, cat sitting, exotic/small animal care, and bed and breakfast services.
- Paws and Claws does not provide overnight care, boarding, or constant care (live-in care).
Safety & Socialization
- We are a team! This ensures that we have the flexibility and availability that your pets need and also helps your pets socially.
- We all undergo the same training and have the same certifications.
- We are unable to care for pets that have a bite history or would not do well with new people.
Home Access
Home Access Options:
- A lockbox on site
- Coded entry plus one key in case of code failure
- Two coded entry points (e.g. door code + garage code)
- Two copies of the key/fob

Please note that for dog walks and adventure hikes, we are keyless - clients must have a lockbox or coded entry.
Medication
- We are able to administer many different types of medication.
- For any life-preserving meds, we do require a "trial run" (1-2 visits with you not home) before you leave on vacation.
- We do not administer insulin, injections, or subcutaneous fluids.
Scheduling
- We are able to accommodate most requests; the earlier you book, the more we can guarantee we'll have a slot available.
- We operate on arrival windows and do not promise exact times.
- We require at least once a day visits for cat and exotic/small animal sitting for their wellbeing.
Service Area
- We proudly service Madison, Middleton, Verona, Fitchburg, Monona, McFarland, Oregon, and Stoughton.
- Please check our service area page to ensure that you are in an area where we provide care. We are unable to take on clients outside this area.
